Pizza innovator Pieology officially opened Monday at its newest location at West County Center, marking the third Missouri location for Pieology franchise owner Midwest Pie LLC, and great news for traditional shoppers as uncertainly looms over the longevity of traditional malls.
CBL Properties, which owns West County Center, South County Center and Mid-Rivers Mall, is struggling to maintain its properties as retailers close stores due to the cash-flow impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and e-commerce.
“After our warm welcome in St. Charles and South County, we’re confident our new West County location will do just as well,” said Jeremy Bonk, director of operations for Midwest Pie LLC. “Pieology makes their dough and sauce fresh daily and offers custom salads, along with our unbeatable customer service. Pieology has become a fast favorite among pizza fans all over the country.”
The new Pieology location is on the second floor in the food court area.
