Missouri Governor and First Lady Test Positive for COVID-19

Hours after news that Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s wife – Teresa Parson- tested positive for COVID-19, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Director Dr. Randall Williams held a news conference announcing that Gov. Parson has also tested positive for the virus.

Gov. Parson and the first lady said though medical information is private, they wanted to be transparent about the situation. Teresa Parson reassured Missourians about her condition in a video message:
