The American Heart Association is hosting a COVID-19 community conversation at noon on Friday, April 10, as part of a series of virtual conversations focusing on the impact of the pandemic in the community, and how everyone can help create a positive health impact during this unprecedented time.
The event will take place via Zoom, and will explore:
- The American Heart Association’s response to COVID-19.
- What heart disease and stroke patients and/or survivors should do to protect themselves amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Tips and strategies to support health and wellness as the community practices social distancing and adheres to the stay-at-home recommendations.
- Local community resources for testing and volunteering to support COVID-19 control.
