Lambert Airport Updates Safety Requirements for Travelers During Pandemic

0

St. Louis Lambert International Airport has updated guidelines from airlines regarding travel safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Contour Airlines, Frontier, Delta and Southwest Airlines are requiring all travelers to wear a face covering or mask while onboard the aircraft and while in gate areas.

Until further notice, the Transportation Security Administration is allowing passengers to bring hand sanitizer up to 12 ounces in carry-on bags. Larger containers will most likely need to be screened separately, so passengers are encouraged to allow plenty of time.

TSA employees are also required to wear masks, and the airport is checking employee temperatures as they arrive to work each day.

If you are using Metro Transit to reach the airport, you are required to wear a face mask to help protect transit riders and employees.

Metro Riders Will Be Required to Wear Face Masks Beginning May 11
