Tributes poured in over the holiday weekend from baseball fans, leadership and the St. Louis community to honor Hall of Famer and St. Louis Cardinals great Lou Brock, who died Sunday at age 81.
In a news release, Cardinals Chairman Bill DeWitt Jr. said, “Lou Brock was one of the most revered members of the St. Louis Cardinals organization and one of the very best to ever wear the birds on the bat.”
Major League Baseball released a tribute video that captures the great man that Brock was, not only for baseball, but for humanity.
