It appears that democrats have taken the two most anticipated state representative seats from St. Louis County. Democrat Mike Person is the presumed winner for the 74th District, which covers the Ferguson area. Person received 812 votes, with his opponent Nick Kasoff coming in at 604 votes.
In West St. Louis County, Democrat Trish Gunby won the state representative seat for District 99 with 54% of the votes against her opponent Lee Ann Pitman.
