Katie Manga, who has served as Gateway to Hope’s executive director since her hiring in January 2018, has been named CEO.

The nonprofit provides financial and compassionate support to individuals in need, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Manga is a seasoned executive with corporate, government and nonprofit experience, who is passionate about making affordable care accessible to everyone.

“The title of chief executive officer recognizes Katie’s leadership in building a strategy that ensures our organization is sustainably delivering on its mission to serve our community. Her guidance has resulted in the serving of over 400 individuals in 2019 – more than double the number served five years ago – as well as improved patient impact and operational efficiency,” said Susan Sullivan, board president of the organization. “With this strong leadership team in place, and with a clear plan charting the course for our future, we are confident that our mission will only continue to grow and respond to the needs of our community.”

The mother of two also serves on the Girls on the Run St. Louis Advisory Council and co-chairs the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Community and Faith Advisory Council, where she champions women’s health and health equity issues. She holds a  Master of Science from Florida State University and has executive leadership experience in the public and private sectors.

Gateway to Hope also announced the promotion of Keri Koehler as director of program and evaluation, and Monique Levy as director of development and operations.
