In a continued effort to flatten the COVID-19 curve, both St. Louis County Executive Sam Page and St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson today announced on social media that they are extending the stay-at-home order.

“Our stay-at-home order will be extended for now, and I will revisit it in mid-May. We have made progress, but now is not the time to weaken the social distancing policies that are working,” Page said.

Krewson added, “Our #SocialDistancing restrictions are working. But we can’t afford to let up now.”

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is expected to give an update on Thursday afternoon.
